William Amos | Sr. Technical Account Manager
Meet William Amos - one of our skilled IT superheroes who has dedicated 6 years to the TechGen team!
William is our Sr. Technical Account Manager in our IT Services Department here at TechGen. He’s one of our very skilled in-office IT experts, who brings 5+ years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining our team, Will attended Winona State and Saint Mary’s where he pursued a degree in Psychology and Counseling. After finding a job within his degree, he quickly realized he enjoyed business far more than he enjoyed therapy, so he then decided he wanted to move in that direction.
Helping clients and being able to find a solution to a complex issue is what makes his day. William enjoys working in the technology industry because IT is constantly changing, and there’s always some new tool or program or solution out there. He also says he loves learning new things every day and getting to apply those skills.

Attended Winona State for a degree in Psychology, and a bonus minor in Philosophy. After that, Will went to Saint Mary’s in Minneapolis for a Master’s in Counseling.
Fun Facts
Outside of working at TechGen, Will stays active in local politics, as both an activist and a board member of his local Neighborhood Association. He also enjoys playing video games, mostly in the single player strategy genre so that he can listen to history and economic podcasts while he plays.
Between all of that, Will has been trying to find time to launch a documentary YouTube channel, though he’s only completed one video so far.
Will’s favorite food is cheeseburgers, he says he’s a one man cheeseburger apocalypse. He also has two cats. Chigger, (His litter was named after the parasites they were rescued from) and Nyarlathotep (The Crawling Chaos). 🐱
