Ed Leaf - TechGen Employee Bio

Ed Leaf | Technical Account Manager

We are elated to welcome the newest member to our team of IT superheroes, Ed Leaf!

Ed is our Technical Account Manager here at TechGen. He’s one of our very skilled hybrid IT experts, who brings 1+ years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining TechGen, Ed worked in events management and planning, sales, and small office management and consulting, with an occasional server or bartending gig here and there. He has a keen eye for real estate finding value and hidden potential and has even done several “flips” in his past.

Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients is Ed’s favorite part of his job – He’s a natural community builder and has always brought people together. He also likes helping people get what they need to build their own success.

Ed says he enjoys working in the IT industry because today, everything touches technology! He also loves puzzles and that is how he sees all aspects of IT to be, whether it’s network architecture, database queries, or software scripting. More importantly, he says that there is a balance between creativity and logic in the tech world that he thrives on.

Fun Facts

Outside of working at TechGen, Ed is his mother’s primary caregiver so a lot of his spare time is focused on helping her out. However, when he does have free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, whether that be for a backyard barbequing or a game night. He also bakes the best chocolate chip cookies!

Origami will always be Eds’ first love for local sushi plus he knows the owner! To get the best burger in town, he likes to go to the Parlor Burger at Borough in the North Loop.

Ed also has one dog named Jessie. She is a rescue dog who came from Texas with lots of issues, but has bounced back with vigor!

Welcome to the TechGen team, Ed!
