We are elated to welcome the newest member to our team of IT superheroes, Bill Kukowski!
Bill is our Service Manager here at TechGen. He’s one of our very skilled hybrid IT experts, who brings 25 years of experience in the technology industry; with a majority of his career spent in the Finance industry.
Bill truly enjoys working in the IT industry because technology is always changing and evolving at a rapid rate. He says, “change can be fun! For example, my wife and I purchased Ford Mache last January. The change to a full electric vehicle has been learning experience and a lot of fun.” He also mentions that in general, he likes helping people. He likes helping his co-workers and building relationships with his clients. Another reason he enjoys working in IT is because each day is different and he likes variety in his day… working with different issues and people.

Background
Bill has been working with computers for his whole career. He spent about 7 years in retail with a specialty retail computer chain that is no longer in business (Egghead Software) and 5 years of that running a store in Memphis, TN. He also worked as a Network Engineer where he proposed, built, and supported networks in Community Banks in MN. Bill says that he’s been the “IT guy” in a bank and worked for Emergent Networks (managed services company).
Fun Facts
Outside of working at TechGen, Bill is a big sports fan (baseball/football are the main ones), he also enjoys reading a lot, listening to most types of music, watching movies and gaming with his family (EU4, Civ 4 and some others), cooking and fishing. Bill doesn't have a favorite restaurant, but if he had to choose a favorite food, it would be anything that involves American or Italian style foods.
